Stephanie believes that we are truly better together and healing becomes possible when we listen to the experiences of all bodies dealing with eating disorders.
Stephanie is excited about Project HEAL because of their dedication to eliminating barriers and creating access to care for all individuals with eating disorders
Stephanie has worked in counseling in higher education for 15 years with a focus on creating access to education for individuals with marginalized identities. Prior to working in higher education, Stephanie worked in community mental health agencies and local eating disorder treatment programs. For the last two year, Stephanie has been volunteering for various eating disorder non-profit organizations.
Stephanie maintains a clinical mental health license. She is also a Be Body Positive trained facilitator.
Stephanie holds a doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology and a master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Stephanie’s favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream from Graley’s Creamery and Confections.
